$14K Worth Of Sports Cards Stolen In South Central PA Burglary: Police (Watch)

A burglary involving over $14,000 in stolen sports cards is under investigation after by the Northern York County Regional Police Department according to a release on Thursday, Nov. 7.

Officers responded to an incident at the Morning Sun Marketplace, located at 5309 Lincoln Highway in Jackson Township, on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2024, at 1:01 a.m.

The victim, who owns a vendor space at the marketplace, was alerted by a motion sensor to the presence of an intruder. The vendor immediately drove to the marketplace from his home, the police explained. Upon arrival, he encountered the suspect, described as wearing a white mask and a blue Nautica jacket. The thief fled on foot upon seeing the property owner.

The suspect managed to break into a display case and steal five high-value sports cards, with a combined worth of $14,000.
